Cholie was Arlen Bales's uncle and Silvy Bales's brother. In 319 AR Tibbet's Brook suffered a Demon attack, Ana Cutter the girl he wished to court died after which he committed suicide by hanging himself by a tree. He was later discovered by Arlen Bales and Ragen.
He used to run a Farrier’s shop with Silvy Bales before her marriage and still operated it in Town Square.
