The Skull Throne is the fourth book in the series of The Demon Cycle after The Daylight War. It was projected to be released on March 24th, 2015,^[1] but was actually released a few days later on the 31st of March 2015.

On July 18, 2023, Peter V. Brett reported on his blog that The Skull Throne (along with The Core) would be getting a paperback re-release on March 5, 2024 by Del Rey Books as part of The Warded Man 15th anniversary.^[2]
