Selen and Olive Paper grew up together and were cared by "nanny" Micha, who is the older sister to Olive and is married to Kendall Demonsong.

Events of The Desert Prince

At the end of the borough tour, with Olive Paper she joined a group of Warded Children and spent time incognito, she used the pseudonym "Simen" (apparently short for "Simena"?), posing as a Sweet Succor village boy.
