Elissa Messenger is Ragen's wife and mother to two children, Marya and Arlen (named after Arlen Bales). Marya, their first child, was born in 325 AR, followed by Arlen in 331 AR.
She never really liked that Ragen was an messenger - and never supported that Arlen Bales was going to be one too - and was glad when they started to work at Cob's Wardershop instead.
